Sodium Light Years (2023), an ode in video form to the nightscape of New York, contemplates the shift from

sodium vapor to LED street lights in the city. The video investigates the history of the overheard changes that

have been happening over the last fourteen years; the new lights are poised to have dramatic effects on energy

savings and have already proved efficient in reducing costs. This video questions the long-term and imagines

the unseen effects LED lights have on public life at night.
